I'm naturally trustful and believe in good intentions unless someone proves me otherwise. And I do embrace a statement of doing the right thing.

I travel frequently, both due to professional reasons as well as because I love. I am passionate about people, good conversations, sense of humour, wandering around. If you call me in the middle of the night and ask for help, you can be sure that it will be offered to you, even if I look terrible in my pyjama and can barely see without my contact lenses. But there are more important things, right?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I might not be familiar with all Insta options and definitely, I am not a Snapchat geek but I believe in a power of social media. There is no shame to admit that one uses Tinder to make new friendships (in a wider sense as well). I explore various options which allow me getting to know new people, visiting new places, learning something new. And I am a great advocate of Couchsurfing hangouts - one can hardly discover a better tool to connect travellers, locals and just interesting people. No fail so far!

Interests

I read, learn, travel, explore, take pictures and write. This is what I am passionate about.

As I am rather short (but you wouldn't call me pocket-size), I love high heel shoes. Unless I am in Mexico or Cambodia - then I compromise them with slippers or flip-flops. But honestly, I think I would reach utmost happiness walking barefoot on grass or beach.

Music, Movies, and Books

I never cross the street on a red light, lie, and download music or movies illegally. Thus I have a solid collection of CDs and DVDs among which you will find a massive selection of films with Colin Firth (all sorts of Mr Darcy), Bradley Cooper (Aloha, Aloha and once again Aloha), and Aaron Eckhart (yes, I love him dancing to Pavarotti with a quail in his hand in "No Reservations"). No, I haven't seen Hostel or other horror stories because they would probably make me stay at home instead of trusting and hanging out.

If you ever happen to review my YouTube playlist, don't be surprised to find there lots of songs from Jessie Ware, Birdy, Emily Sande, Adele, Coldplay, Florence & The Machine, The Naked and Famous, Kings of Leon, Creed, Metallica, Nirvana, Zaz, Alanis Morissette, Band of Horses...

If I work, then with Hawaiian reggae, if you see me dancing, then DJ probably plays latino or reggaeton...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Travelled alone to Hawaii (having booked tickets two days in advance).
- Returned home from the other side of the world without a single document.
- Went for a pilgrim by bike from Warsaw to Rome when I was 14. Still carry scars on my knees.
- Lightened Chinese lanterns on a beach on a Pacific shore.
- Changed kayak into submarine on the Andaman Sea.
- Enjoyed correspondence with a Nobel Prize winner.
