Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel with less planning, and more adventure.
ABOUT ME
"He's funny, and he hits his head on stuff" (I'm tall).
No but really. I have been described as being the following things:
-Silly
-Strange
-Nice
-Interesting
-A big teddy bear
I don't know how I feel about being a "teddy bear," but the rest are good with me! Here are some random facts that I will gladly share about myself:
-I love cardamom.
-I am addicted to tea (cay, chai, whatever you may call it).
-I sometimes sing and dance to myself when no one is watching, or if someone is watching (don't worry though, I won't embarrass you!)
-Some friends tell me I have many different identities and personalities that all come out in different situations. I hope that makes me interesting!
PHILOSOPHY
Live well for this world, don't hold grudges.
When in doubt, have tea.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I bring good energy and a lot of questions. If you have had an interesting life, I may ask for the whole story. Be prepared to talk when you see me :D
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far, so good. Making memories! I love CS'ers because they are easy to please and find fun in the simple ways: putting people together in a room and just hanging out!
Interests
I love music and learning new instruments. I also love language. I speak a few! Oh, and I like losing to backgammon masters (it's an honor, and a learning experience).

Music, Movies, and Books
Folk music from: America, Iran, Turkey, Armenia, etc..
I love all kinds of Hip-hop, and I make rap in my spare time.
Electronic music (I DJ in the states).
When it comes to books, I've read all the classics they make you read growing up in America: Hemingway, Dostoevsky, Fitzgerald, etc. Loved them all, and always looking for more as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visiting Yedi Kule Zindanlari in Istanbul.
Also, the first time I met my bouzouki teacher. He was a great man--tough, funny, and wise. If someone has knowledge to share I always love to listen.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about middle eastern music (the basics, the history), and I can teach you how to cook Persian food. Also I can teach you how to speak english like a 'cool' american.
Also I taught someone how to shuffle (the dance) during my last couch surfing experience....so there's that.
Countries I’ve Visited
Armenia, Greece, Iran, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United Kingdom
Countries I’ve Lived In
Turkey, United States
