Hi, my name is Kana. I live and work in Tokyo doing sales. I love traveling and meeting new people and am excited to host people visiting Tokyo. In my free time I enjoy hiking, watching movies, bicycling, and enjoying good food. I love learning about new cultures and am really excited to meet people from all over the world. I was born in Tokyo and am learning English.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kana - I lived in a village in the middle of nowhere India for 10 days. The village had no clean water, no electricity, no gas, no private bathrooms or showers, the food was all incredibly spicy, almost no one spoke English, I was the only non-Indian person there. It was amazing. One of the best experiences of my life. Second is probably climbing Mount Fuji four times.

Krishna - My girlfriend Kana hates getting her photo taken but I managed to wear her down and convince her to let me take a photo. This may not sound like much but you have no idea how much she hates getting her photo taken. I also convinced her to watch animated movies which is another thing she hates.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - We haven't figured this one out yet

Learn - We want to learn about other peoples cultures and also more about that person's life.

Share - A ton of great restaurants, bars, cafes, museums, and ways to spend your time in Tokyo. Especially around Shibuya haha.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We know a lot of nice restaurants scattered around the city and also enough cafes to keep you busy. If you like company we will definitely want to join and enjoy some friendly conversations.

If you enjoy alcohol we will definitely visit our favourite bar in the city and drink some great cocktails. And if you enjoy whiskey, you will have to help Krishna clear out some of his whiskey (while Kana drinks juice or wine).
