About Me
I live in Koenji, Tokyo.
Koenji is just a 6minutes train ride from Shinjuku. Despite being close to the city center, you can experience the good old days of Japanese life and get a real local experience. There are many izakayas that are not chain restaurants, making it a great place for weekend nightlife.
I was born in Hokkaido, Japan. Hokkaido is the northernmost large island of Japan and it gets cold and snowy in the winter. Hokkaido is famous for the ski resort of Niseko. I grew up in a snowy country, so I love winter. I can concentrate on working indoors with a hot coffee on a dark, cold, quiet morning.
As we grow older, we tend to be more safety-conscious, so when I travel, I want to challenge my common sense and experience a culture shock.
I respect the religions and customs of the country I visit. And I want to be careful not to get in the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My husband and I are very interested in the real food, culture, and lifestyle of local people. Before we found out about Couchsurfing, we paid a travel agency to stay with a host family, but the itinerary was all set and we couldn't be flexible. We were impressed by the fact that Couchsurfing isn't a business, but allows you to experience the real life of local people.
I want to increase the number of give and take rallies.
People overseas are often surprised, but my husband and I met on a dating site. It's not uncommon in Japan these days. I wonder if it's efficient for shy, busy Japanese people Lol? I'd also like to know about romantic activities in your country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have nothing to be proud of... So now I am going on a trip around the world with my husband. I hope to meet friends from all over the world who can help us on our adventure.
Even blindfolded, I can guess the brand of beer just by listening to the sound of the tab being opened.(Japanese beer only)
So It's not something to be proud of I've eaten Sagworm,Crack,Diving beetle,Scarab beetle, cockroach.
As we grow up, we tend to prefer safety, but it's also important to stimulate ourselves 😂
Teach, Learn, Share
I will share my life in Tokyo.
I will help you if you are in trouble. Please feel free to contact me if there is anything I can help you with.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My husband and I are very shy and we don't speak English well. So we've been thinking about how we can repay our hosts. The ways we've repaid our hosts so far have been by giving them souvenirs we brought from Japan, cooking meals, and treating them to street food and everyday drinks. Giving them gifts is great, but if there's anything you need help with, please let us know.
Currently, I do not bring any souvenirs from Japan as I am traveling for a long period of time🥲
