Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To understand the culture of the world
ABOUT ME
Independent and introspective. Always trying to learn. I can be fun and charming, but I tend to fall away and dive into myself. I enjoy understanding people on a deeper level and sometimes get frustrated to have to go through the pleasantries with someone to get there. I'm quite open when people ask about me. I enjoy hearing about and giving feedback on the complexities in people's lives. Because I'm overly independent, I working on making myself more social.
PHILOSOPHY
Know Thyself - Socrates
To thine ownself be true - Shakespeare
Everything in moderation, including moderation
C'est la vie (such is life)
I am and always will be on the road to self improvement. I try to help those around me. I listen. I try to treat others as they would like to be treated but always ensure that my needs are met first. After all, if I'm having my own troubles that I can't deal with, how can I help others?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've kissed under a waterfall in Kuai, Hawaii.
I've seen the bats fly over Centennial Park in Sydney.
I've experienced the tomb known as the Taj Mahal.
I've seen the sun set off of Himatangi beach in New Zealand.
I've walked among the redwoods in California, U.S.A.
I've passed the massive columns that are the Parthenon in Athens, Greece.
I have snowmobiled in Yellowstone National Park.
Teach, Learn, Share
Things I've learned on this trip so far:
1. Never try to couchsurf on the first day in a new country (or city). Stabilize yourself first.
2. Learn to cook. Preparing food is a supremely social activity. (I don't cook much yet).
3. Wear sunscreen.
4. Make sure to do some other stuff and not get caught up in just 'hanging out' and drinking at the hostels
