Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of soul, jazz, funk, hip-hop, rock, reggae and electronic music. I am open to discovering new art and learning about sub-cultural movements from all around the world.
My favourite films are probably City of God and One Flew Over The Cukoo’s Nest, though I am a big fan of independent cinema.
I enjoy reading non-fiction, mainly. I recently enjoyed At The Existentialist Cafe by Sarah Bakewell as well as The Silk Roads by Peter Frankopan.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have a black belt in Kung Fu and participated in the prosecution of Khmer Rouge leaders.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always happy to have a language and cultural exchange. I am proud of the UK and love introducing people to the nuances of our culture and way of life. I can give you tips on where to go in London as well as the rest of the country, suitable to most interests (or I will find out for you!). Equally, I am always seeking to improve the way I do things and love hearing the perspectives of others.
What I Can Share with Hosts
