About Me

To tell you a bit about me, I’m a 23 year-old adventurer, born in La Linea, Spain, just across the border from Gibraltar. I’m 1/8 English, 1/8 Shetlander, ¼ Gibraltarian, ¼ Spanish, ¼ Unknown (my granddad was an orphan, so we have no idea)…so some would say I’m a bit of mongrel, but I’d tell you I’m a Sanddancer.*

*In case you don’t know, Sanddancers are people from a North-Eastern town in the UK called South Shields, aka Geordies.

Having purchased my first motorcycle in October 2014, I decided in the summer of 2015 that it was either go big or go home, so a couple of days after graduation I set out on an adventure to cover around 6-7000 miles, touring around the coast of Europe, starting in the UK and traveling to France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium etc. Having completed this journey last year, I have now embarked on the really journey, to circumnavigate the world b my motorcycle and get the world record as the youngest person to do so!

I'm a pretty easy going guy, like to chill (a bit too much), love to eat great food and meet great people, I have quite a few tales to tell and my story isn't a bad one.

Having said that, I'm a very motivated person when it comes to business, if there is something I can help you with, feel free to message me anytime. I believe in helping others when i can, it's all about Karma y'know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having camped and stayed in Hostels a lot over the past few weeks, I've decided it's time for something different. I would love to get to know the places I stay better and the Insight of a local is invaluable.

Also you get to talk to the people before you meet them and know what you're getting yourself into.

I'm definitely interested in hosting once I get back and think both the couchsurfing paradigm are great... I would love to meet travellers and host them and think it would be great to build a network for when I next travel.

Interests

Well... I guess Motorbikes was an obvious one, and traveling/adventure is the same too.

I love to tinker with things, often it will end bad and I have a reputation for breaking thing in the process, but how else am I expected to learn without a few accidents ;)

Anything enterprise related and you'll probably find me, I run my own business and was the Vice-President of the Entrepreneur Society at my University.

I enjoy participating in business competitions and have been know to win a few.

I like to explore and find beautiful places and to meet new people.

I've been quite a few Music festivals (probably about 10), from Metal to Classical and Reggae, there's a time and place for it all!
