CURRENT MISSION
Be the best person I can be!
ABOUT ME
I'm a very fun and easygoing Singaporean who just returned from overseas studies. Studying in the UK has been the best years of my life, it has been a whole new world and a whole new culture with countless treasures waiting for me to pick up. Being away from home has also made me grow up in so many ways, and I returned to Singapore with reluctance yet excitement for the next phase of my life!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm very new to couchsurfing, and I'll be grateful to my potential hosts for having faith in my relatively unfurnished portfolio! I'm also glad to host and meet people from overseas! It's a great feeling to have friends from all over the world.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first and most memorable couchsurfing experience happened in Switzerland, where my host took the courage to host a first-timer like me with zero testimonials on my profile. During one of the nights, we had a great chat and something he said resonated in me, "I assume kindness in the new people that I meet". He chose to believe that I'm a good person instead of dodgy character trying to steal things off his house. His assumption gave me a great deal of convenience, and in return I hope he gained something in hosting me. That's how we make the world a better place!
Interests
I love watching football although I don't play the sport, and I play some basketball although I don't follow the NBA.
Apart from this unusual combination I also love travelling, having fun, meeting new people, and Mandarin pop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1) Panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean atop the Basilica of Santa Luzia in Viana do Castelo, Portugal. Voted "one of the world's finest panoramas" in National Geographic.
2) Huangshan, China. True as the ancient saying goes, "After you've mounted Huangshan there is nothing else that you'll regard as a mountain."
3) Blue Lagoon in Iceland. Google for it and you'll know why.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a Physics degree (no no please don't go "wowwww" or "hmmmmmm") so I think I should be quite good at it.
I really hope people realise how fun Physics actually is, and again, not in a geeky way. From elementary stuff like pendulums to something slightly more intriguing like the Schrodinger's Cat, we can talk all night about Physics, if you're interested of course =)
