About Me
ABOUT ME
first things first: I AM CORONAVIRUS FREE! yes i'm asian, so what!
i'm a meat-and-potato kind of guy. nothing too crazy. single. still watch pokemon. open minded. liberal. extraverted introvert.
PHILOSOPHY
i'm a believer, but not a religious follower. i'm a former mormon.
i love talking about everything. specially something awkward and legit like "why people pee in the shower?" or "why men have nipples?" c'mon, these are crucial secrets of humanity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
travelling and meeting new amazing aboslutely unique people. it's experience you can't buy or steal. i like to meet up with other couchsurfers and tell them what's so different but at the same time so common between us. there's nothing as satisfying as cooking smth together and then have a talk about everything.
Interests
i like to try something new. something legally new *cough-cough*
i'm a linguist thus i love not only learning new languages, but also study the origin of them. currently i'm trying to grasp asl (american sign language) and rsl (russian sign language).
i also like modern art, dancing (vogue dancer right here!), photography, weird obscure cinematography, a tiny bid of politics and uplifting suicidal music.
for specific information send me a message. feel free to ask whatever the hell your sick mind may want to.

Music, Movies, and Books
oh i can go forever on this one...
my playlist is always changing. rachmaninov for sure. currently i'm into woodkid, iamamiwhoami, polina orlova, regina spektor, ok go, florence and the machine, muse, placebo, the killers and etc..
films. one of my absolutely fav things is international film festivals, where you have a chance to watch arthouse cinema from all over the world. i love short and extra short cinematography as well. i watch at least one new film a day. if i like it i usually put my thoughts in non-professional film review form. there's an ocean of films i adore but if i have to think of my fav films that pop in my mind they would be any of kim ki duk's films or xavier dolan's ones. pedro almadovar is good too. tarkovskiy, jia zhan ke, hirokazu koreeda, antonioni, pazzolini, haneke and many more...
books. russian classics. haruki murakami. american modern literature. currently i'm enjoying michael cunningham's "a home at the end of the world"
tv shows. don't watch them much but when i do it's mostly - black mirror. heroes. portlandia (my absolute favorite). 2 broke girls. the office.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i woke up this morning..
Teach, Learn, Share
teach: how to stay cool when everyone is getting married and you're forever alone. also I can teach how to read korean. That might be helpful... sometimes... maybe...
learn: how to say no. sometimes my constant "yeses" lead me to the situations i would love to burn in my mind.
share: a hamburger.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Funny stories happened to me while travelling. Some good film recommendations. For real. If you'd like to discover a flamboyant side of you I can teach you some elements of vogueing. shablam for me! 😉
also my cooking skills (not superb but still).
