About Me

CURRENT MISSION

adding life to my days, not days to my life

ABOUT ME

I love adventures. I love to explore. I love music. I love to learn. I love people-watching. I love to travel. I love tea. I love art. I love nature. I love the simple things in life. I love good food. I love charity/thrift shops.

PHILOSOPHY

both.. carpe diem & memento mori

A few quotes I like...

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” (Mark Twain)

“We can never know what to want, because, living only one life, we can neither compare it with our previous lives nor perfect it in our lives to come.” (Milan Kundera)

"The secret of happiness is this: let your interests be as wide as possible and let your reactions to the things and persons that interest you be as far as possible friendly rather than hostile." (Bertrand Russell)

“Two roads diverged in a wood and I – I took the one less traveled by.” (Robert Frost)

I guess my personal philosophy is just that it's important to have fun, explore, take chances, go with your gut, be kind and good, and not feel too bad if it all goes tits up.
