ABOUT ME

Adrenaline Junky is a term some use to describe me. I just like to try new things and end up getting addicted to them, doesn't necessarily mean adrenaline junky, does it?

Youngest of 5 sisters and the black sheep of the family b/c I don't stay in one place for very long. LOL

Happiest when outdoors and being active. I smile a lot and love a good joke. Not the best of cooks but I sometimes amaze people with my cookies from scratch or zucchinni bread recipe.

Grew up in the country in Kansas. FLAT & WINDY state!

Accidents i've overcome (& they havn't stoped me yet!):
1. Jump 9 Skydiving I busted my face on the step of airplane (OUCH!!) BUT ended up with the best parachute landing of the weekend! 2. Broken nose from a horse. 3. Two concussions.

I've used CS concept many times through skydivers, horse lovers and friends i've met traveling the USA. Joining Couchsurfing.com is just another step to meet more great people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working with At-Risk Youth: Kids who were abused physically and mentally by someone close to them. Being a mentor, houseparent and counselor to these kids has been one of the most rewarding experiences. Teaching and showing them they are above what was done to them. Helping them realize their is NO limit to their dreams! Showing them how to work and live with a group of different ages, races, religions, beliefs and more.
