ABOUT ME
I'm a first-generation American, born to a German mother and Bulgarian father. They tried to raise me to be equally at home in the US and Europe, and more or less succeeded. I don't travel much right now, but have done quite a bit in the past - especially when I was doing standards work, whence I saw the insides of hotels in many exotic locations.
I'm a technologist at heart, but also have a deep connection to the old ways - I like old cars and old machine tools. I make my living manipulating bits on a screen, but I get more satisfaction from making or fixing something with my hands.
I love being in the mountains more than anywhere else.
PHILOSOPHY
Never pass up the opportunity to contribute to another.
