ABOUT ME

I'm a writer who believes in the philosophy that all living contributes to the act of creation. I write to express my existence and I travel to refine it. I have a fascination with everything cultural. That means everything from the worst to the best. I've lived in South Central Ghetto and Washed up in the Tenderloin and spun my way through the polite quasi Parisian veneer of Canada. I like to be marked by the places I visit and find myself scarred in the best of ways by the places I've been to. I once spent three days at a party that made me feel sorry for Long Beach and lose 30 ounces of body fat. I have written since I was 12 and tried to get published ever since and I have been published 5 times. I come from a place where bad things happened to everyone the sun touched and I was lucky to stay in the shade long enough to realize that there was an amazing myriad of at the edge of Wilmington and Alondra Blvd. In Compton one and every four black males over 20 is either in jail in a gang or dead and at the age of twelve I realized I was bad at all those things so I spent my time reading and writing trying to find my way to future I felt comfortable with and I ended up in England.
