About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Wow, do I have a mission? It could best be summed up as a keen desire to see as much of the world as I can, and do some good.

ABOUT ME

I have enjoyed many unique experiences. I lived in a cabin in the rockies for 7 years, no elec. or water. I have hitchhiked across Africa. There were several times that I was able to have extended stays in the U.K.,I love mid-Wales! Managed to hang out with family in Norway several times.
I am happiest in nature, and camp and hike whenever I can. This has helped me develop a serious devotion to environmental issues.
I have a daughter ,several brothers, a nephew, and an incedible family that I love very much.
I have helped found a county wide recycling org. .I have also served on a town board of trustees, and numerous committees. It's been my good fortune to have helped with some local charitable home repair projects as well. Life is beautiful.

PHILOSOPHY

Every day is an amazing opportunity. I am so grateful to have my health and life every day. Sometimes I need to revisit that idea, but usually it shows up for me unasked. Any personal dissapointments I may have are overshadowed by the potential of just being around to have another shot at it day by day.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly read history and some fiction. Really like to watch an occasional film. No t.v. here. I really like all forms of music, with the possible exception of country.....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would have to say my trek across Africa in 1996, and 1997. Richard Halliburton was my childhood hero, and inspired me to wander.
