I have HUUUGE!!! amounts of love for the world, nature and cities, people and cultures. I want to know everything and see as much as possible. I like people and i like it when people do good things. i am shy at first but will warm up to you quickly, don't worry! i like good conversations, good food, good coffee, good laughs and just overall good times. i love my family and my home and want to share that with people as soon as i can.
i also like to look at the interesting things people have in their homes.

i can't offer up a couch that isn't completely mine, so for now i would Love to meet you for coffee or to show you around. and i am excited to have a couch of my own to offer people soon!

i just love good stories. and listening to the different ways people tell them. i love children. i also LOOOooooooooooooooooooooove mountains,ocean, lakes, pretty rocks, interesting trees (and all trees), hippopotamus (es..?), curry anything, german chocolate, pretty clothes, books that make me want to be in love, reading poetry out loud, kissing, breakfast early in the morning, the moon and constellations, happy danceable music, pictures of strangers, pictures of locals, comfortable sweatshirts, and eggplant pizza. maybe some other things too.

there is so much.
I love Hemingway, The Time Traveler's Wife, The Poisonwood Bible, Grapes of Wrath, Words Without Borders, anything by Haruki Murakami. The God of Small Things. I read a lot. For music I'll dance to anything I can. But Bon Iver, Ella Fitzgerald, The Be Good Tanyas, The Killers, Elvis, The Black Keys, Ani DiFranco, Tristan Prettymen, Feist, Tom Petty, Bob Marley, The Postal Service,Cat Power, Bob Dylan, Wilco, Guster and emiliana torrini are among the current favorites.

the Maine woods are pretty specTACular. seeing the coast of maine from the top of a mountain in acadia park was pretty amazing.
