About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Katrin is exploring the world!
ABOUT ME
My name is Katrin, I am 28 years old and live in the nice city of Hamburg.
Doing an exchange year in England when I was 17 pretty much changed my life and ever since I have been very fond of languages, getting to know people and cultures and of course, of travelling and living abroad.
I am open minded, outgoing and interested in other people. I am easygoing, not shy, easy to talk to, less blond than my hair colour would let you guess(but i do have my very blond moments, don't worry), clumsy, reliable and honest (sometimes too honest, but I never mean to be mean).
I love eating, laughing, drinking, sleeping, seeing my friends and discovering the world. Come along and we discover it together!
PHILOSOPHY
You are where you always wanted to be. Every man is the architect of his own fortune.
La vida está llena de idas y vueltas. A mi, me gusta viajar.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
One of my mates told me about couchsurfing. thats why i decided to take part as well.
here are some of my experiences:
I met up with Reggae from Luxor, Egypt. He made me understand and learn lots about his country while smoking shisha, eating, riding a camel or just dozing together.
I stayed on Abide's couch in Marrakech. I have met few people as hospitable as him and shared many good moments with him. We are still in touch and keep each other updated about our lifes.
I met with Nikolina in Sarajevo. She showed me around her home town and made me realize how different childhoods can be in different countries under different circumstances.
I stayed at Ronalds couch in the Netherlands and he entertained me and my friend with wine and interesting conversation.
I met up with Andrew and his friend in Marseille and we went out for African food and I showed them around my French town.
In Argentina, I had many other amazing couchsurfing experiences so that i will def continue being a CSer and hope to get to know more of you guys!!
And lately I just stayed with very nice CSers in Vancouver, Canada.
