ABOUT ME

I can be loud and outgoing with people I'm incredibly comfortable with, but with new people (and especially when travelling and tired), I tend to be a bit on the quiet side. My boyfriend and I are moving to an apartment in Houston, so won't be set up to host again for a while.

Heard great things about couch surfing, so I decided to give it a try since I'll be travelling a bunch this year. Here's hoping for the best!

Interests

I love fantasy novels and anything medieval (including fake-medieval), am big into current discussions (though not theory) of gender and sexuality, and drink wine like it's going out of style.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I flew out to Guam for 5 days for my best-friend-from-high-school's wedding, during which I took advantage of the extreme jetlag to turn in the final paper for my first year of grad school at 4am the day of the wedding.
