About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Working on: being present in the moment, experimenting with vegan foods, refraining from gossiping about fellow humans, offloading possessions, and petting my cat as much as possible.

ABOUT ME

I have a business making clothing & accessories from recycled & up-cycled materials. My goal as a human is to reduce my consumption & help other people to do the same.

I ride a bicycle as my primary mode of transportation, year-round, through snow, rain, & nay-saying motorists.

I love kids! I work part-time for an after school program. My work tasks include: making really messy sushi, telling stories, pretending to be a monkey, dancing like a crazy person, repeatedly tying shoelaces, & being given at least a dozen hugs each day.

I love Rising Appalachia & electronic music.

I generally sleep out-of-doors.

PHILOSOPHY

I hate being a tourist! I value authenticity & honestly.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: The Royal Tenenbaums, Legally Blond
The theme generally seems to be comedic fluff or beautifully crafted films.

Music: Odesza, Rising Appalachia, The Human Experience, Lobo Marino, Actress, Eskmo, Bonobo, Fever Ray, Flume, 90's top 40...too many to list

Books: Tom Robbins, Phillip Pullman, & self-help. But then again, I think all of those are self-help.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you're feeling really bad, especially about a failed relationship, sit down in front of the mirror and cut your own hair, especially if you have long hair. There is something very empowering about it that will help you remember how to be an individual and take control of your life.
I want to learn how to build furniture.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook awesome food & entertain your kiddos.
