About Me

CURRENT MISSION

P-H-D! :3

ABOUT ME

Hi guys!

Well...it is hard to honestly describe one in a short text so I will write just first three things which popped out in my mind. Thie first one is that I really enjoy to meet new people. I feel richer with every new person I have the opportunity to know. Second is that I am not able to sit in one place for a long time. There is a strong desire inside me to explore wheter it is a pub, museum or a mountain. And finally the third one: I am a musician which is not only a job but also a way of life. I love to play music, talk about music, alsoooo...brag about my achevements;) So if you do not want this topic to occur during our conversation you have to remind me this every 10 minutes^^

PHILOSOPHY

Do anything you want and let everybody do anything they want, unless it hurts somebody.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been using CS quite a few times now.
I travel around the Europe as a pianist and a lecturer so I go abroad few times in a year and... this is how I discovered CS. Ofcourse I could use hostels, aspecially I would not have to pay for them (as I usually come invited by some organisations or institutions which sponsor my logisticks) but I really prefer CS, because leaving with people is, well...fun^^ You can share experiences, visit places known only by locals, taste real local quisine and many more... It gives you a feeling that you are not merely a turist, but a welcomed guest which is really something.
In the other hand my hosting history is unfortunatelly not so rich because for a long time I lived in a place where hosting was not possible. Now it luckly changed so I want to give back what CS gave me. Speaking of which: when you ask for a couch please mention the frase "Smetana was a great composer" in your message for me to know that you actually red my description;p

Thanks couch;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Well...
As for music it would be XIXth and XXth century classical music. Aspecially slavonic.

I really do not watch a lot of films because I get really easily irritated by poor acting which is actually quite common. This is why I prefer animations (Ghibli <3). I am very into all kinds of literature but my favourite style is grotesque (eg. Gałczyński, Hasek)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well...the craziest thing I have ever done was hitch-hiking from Wrocław to Massafra (about 2000 km) with 40 euro in my pocket and a goal o participating in piano competition (held in Massafra). The funniest thing about this story is...I got the 1st prize!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a pianist and music theoretist. If anybody is interested in this stuff - be my guest.
