Well, I come from India and I am a Pharmacy student. I am in Germany for three months from May to July 2016 for an internship or project. I love intense travelling, hanging around, meeting up new people and cultures, very interested in knowing the European culture and sharing my Indian culture. In India, I have traveled to a large number of cities and lived in many too.

Travelling is my true passion. Its a way to know more and experience the world! Many travelers visit cities in a long trip. They have a long list of cities to visit and a long time. But, I am the kind of one who converts into a beast traveler only at the weekends and gets back to college on weekdays, the "Weekend Traveler" I would call it. :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing! Its the best platform where you can convert your dream of travelling to different cities into a reality! :D

Travelling is the only thing in the world which is a gift. Hang around, party, roam, live the different cultures, eat, drink and enjoy to the fullest.

But, one problem scares every traveler. Where am I going to stay? Which places am I going to visit? How can I best visit the city in a couple of days? Shit! It would have been so better if I would have had a true friend cum host!

Couchsurfing is the best remedy. You get everything here, all answers to the scary questions :D

Interests

1. I consider travelling a gift and its in the best interest of mine.
2. Hanging around with people of different cultures is a fascinating thing which I love to do. A lot!
3. Eating out and drinking with friends and even hosts. Well, I don't drink alcohol. Rest everything works :D
4. Museums, cathedrals and the amazing European culture had always taken my brains. I had always wished to visiting the best places in Europe. Now, here I am, enjoying the best days of my life!
5. Well, who doesn't like parties? Even I am the one who shares this common interest! Work hard on weekdays and party harder on weekends!!
6. I love visiting beaches. The silence leaves you in peace where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. Also, I love hills and mountains. I remember an experience, Zurich, Mount Uetliberg. Wow!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I prefer Indian and English music. The local European music is the one I cannot understand. Thanks to my inability to understand the languages. But, I love Operas, one has blew my mind away! I get along with loud and soft music both!

Movies - The list of movies I have watched is big. So, lets keep that aside! I like action, adventure, thrillers, murder mysteries and suspense movies a lot. :D

Books - A bit into novels, but now a pure bookworm :P I have read a few Indian thrillers and thrillers of the US writers. They were amazing. I can recollect that reading the novel 1984 was a great fun!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

You would not believe it :D

I and a few friends of mine had such a wonderful host in Zurich that he offered us a wonderful coffee and snacks in a 5-star restaurant - Hotel Dolder Grand!

The first Couchsurfing experience, and met a crazy host! What a man! I think its rare for a host to offer such a valuable meal at a 5-star to guests. It was really memorable. Thanks to him!

Teach, Learn, Share

The best part of getting along with a host is that one gets to learn a lot from his experiences. Generally, hosts are very friendly and possess immense knowledge about the world and its people. One gets to learn their culture and the way of life.

Frankly speaking, I am a beginner at travelling and learn from every other mistake i make. I would love to share my experiences to the European nations and how did I reach Europe from India. Its definitely fascinating! The culture and way of living I possess is different and would be a great part to share among surfers and hosts.
