Hello there ! My name is Karan and I am from India. I'm a Chemical Engineer and currently studying at XLRI, to be a Human Resource consultant. I am located in France for the next 3 months on an exchange program and exploring Europe. I am a black belt in Taekwondo and love to play Table Tennis and Chess as well. Traveling is my passion and i have traveled to almost 13 countries so far. Having lived in Mumbai for many years, I can get along with people easily and have a lot of information to offer regarding India. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love learning about new cultures and I believe there is no better way to know the place than interacting with the locals.That makes the experience worthwhile and gives you an insight into what the place has got to offer to you. Music, Movies, and Books

I like to experiment with different kinds of music but i do have a few favorites : Pink Floyd, Aerosmith ,Frank Sinatra ,David Guetta , A R Rahman, Steven Wilson, David Gillmore, Kurt Cobain , Freddy Mercury and i enjoy Jazz too ! I am a big movie buff and can watch n number of movies back to back !

Designed an e-mobility vehicle for shorter distances and it is being used in my previous university

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some kicks and punches, or how to play chess and ping pong. I can also teach you some Indian recipes and also, i am willing to learn anything at all !!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I believe the world is a really small place and one should travel as much as possible.I have seen a large part of India and a few parts of Europe. I think i can offer an insight into the Indian culture as it may be intimidating for someone who is not from the region and also, share my knowledge of music and games . Also, id be more than happy to host someone here in India !
