ABOUT ME
General character traits: ambiguity is the theme: at times spontaneous to the max, at others thoughtful and calculated. Apart from that penchant for spontaneity bordering on the insane (Have you ever had dinner in Zanzibar? no, when is the plane leaving?
Meeting someone new I rather listen - how much have you learned about someone by talking yourself? but if strings are pulled close to my heart (topic/or you) beware... otherwise: I strive on doing and finishing, trying and experiencing, risk taking, expanding horizons, learning and loving...
Good old Jack is expressing some of the things I try to live for so much better:
"I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dry-rot. I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. The function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them. I shall use my time."
"Don't loaf and invite inspiration; light out after it with a club, and if you don't get it you will nonetheless get something that looks remarkably like it... WORK all the time. Find out about this earth, this universe; this force and matter, and the spirit that glimmers up through force and matter from the maggot to Godhead. And by all this I mean WORK for a philosophy of life. It does not hurt how wrong your philosophy of life may be, so long as you have one and have it well."
(Jack London)
PHILOSOPHY

Interests
Surfing, Skiing, Rock climbing, Golf, Diving, Flying, Yoga, Movies
Interests: As above and currently the guitar... Tried solo skydiving (up until "never in the history of skydiving did it happen that the reserve parachute fails as well" was proven wrong twice on the same day) can also attest to the unhealthy character of bungee jumping: being cool jumping "up and away" initially, leads to a fall feet first and a quite "spontaneous" stop - an option that god seemed to have overlooked when designing the spine... Apart from physical activities also inspired by thinkers and books (A life that is not analysed is not worth living; o)
TV is not my media but I love (and heavily consume) movies. Particularly if a bit different, witty, unpredictable and thought provoking.
