ABOUT ME

I am Karin from Sweden. Did my first long trip when I was 20, and got bitten by the travel bug.
There's been quite a few trips since then - done a lot of Asia, a little bit of South America, and a slice of Africa too. Lived in France, Australia and England for a while.
Thankfully, my profession allows me to travel when I want to, as I work as a freelance journalist.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unable to take guests during spring and summer 2015, due to own travelling!

My apartment is small, but centrally located. It's only a one bedroom flat, and I have a mattress on the floor. Not the fanciest of accommodation, but if you want it, it could be yours for a couple of nights. I also have a dog. A friendly golden retriever. I can really only take one person at a time since there only is a mattress (quite comfy though!) and the sofa is too small for sleeping on.

Interests

The outdoors - hiking, kayaking, diving or just generally walking around, discovering an area.
Travelling is obviously an interest, and learning about other places. Besides that, I'm one of those people who enjoy stuff like books, films, music, good food and a good laugh.
Love animals - no problem if you have a pet or two. I have a dog myself. Will be more than happy to go to the pub for at drink and a chat, and...yes, the odd karaoke experience has occured, although the chosen member name here might be a bit misleading...
