Am I who I think I am? I think I cannot say for myself how people think I am. Therefore I asked someone I met to fill this box. My name is Joost and let's see who Karel really is. Besides traveling and drinking beers, Karel loves hugging trees. I don't know why, but one day - when he was drunk - he the told me a story that he was dancing in the woods hugging trees. The campfire was burning high and the trees were smiling brightly. If Karel can bring so much love to trees, think about whats going out in a new city with Karel can create. Besides this a little bit strange side of Karel, he is also very good at cycling. He told me that he won a contest 'cycling with as many groceries as possible' when he was 18. This was his biggest award in his live. Eventhough all dutch people can cycle very well, this reward is only given to the best. Ask him about this story and propably can't stop. The last thing you have to know about Karel is that he can sleep everywhere. If your couch is a solid block, he will thank you greatly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to experience new things explore new cultures and meet new people.
The best way to do this is by meeting the people who live in those city's and hope they have the time to perhaps show you around.
I want some adventure, to meet interesting people who experienced and done things you wouldn't thought possible.
