Hey! I'm an Icelander who grew up in Spain and now lives in lovely Budapest.
I am very curious, so if you meet me in person be ready for lots of questions! I work in marketing and I have a special passion for conscious and environmental respectful consumption, I know how contradictory this sounds, but this is me!

I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle with plenty of wholesome foods and lots of activity. My favourite is Crossfit thanks to its focus on keep improving your self and its community is fantastic, always. I like to stay very active when I travel too: hiking, water sports, extreme activities, or any other adrenaline kickers are on the top of my to-do list. If you can recommend any or join me it would be great!

I also like to dig into the culture of the places I visit or gain some insights from the people I host. Meaningful conversation always wins and let's skip the small talk!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I host, I like to receive that travel energy when I cannot travel, it's exciting! I also enjoy meeting people who travel to different places and share experiences. When I am the one travelling, I cannot think of a better way to really connect with the destination, its culture and hidden gems rather than through its locals :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last New years eve I spent it hiking Spain's highest mountain (Teide, Tenerife) to reach its top before the first sunrise of the year.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation, nice apartment, friendly contact, good restaurant and coffee shops recommendations. Endless supplies of tea (I think I have over 20 types) and funky mugs (heart emoji)
