About Me

Hola. My friends call me kaz, I was born and raised in Australia. I am also half Filipino. I am living in Sydney, Australia. Currently in my first year of studying bachelor of design (interior design) and love traveling and taking snaps for the gram.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people, try new foods, experience different cultures!

Interests

I love anything to do with art, I always carry my cameras around with me whenever I’m traveling. I love to pick up 35mm film cameras from thrift stores and flea markets. If you love to take photos, please hit a gal up! I am always looking to hang with people who love to take photos. Besides photography, I love to thrift shop, dance and travel.

I recently lived abroad in New York as an au pair last year, during my time there I’ve met some interesting and incredible people including couch surfers. I could tell you a couple of stories about them hahaha. I managed to visit 22 states in USA, Utah being my favorite! I loved hiking through the national parks, driving on the long empty roads!

I’m currently in my first year of university, I started late because I didn’t know where to begin and ended up working, studying short courses and traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mainly love to listen to r&b! I love to boogie to r&b, hip hop, pop, anything with a good beat. Lately I’ve been loving Spanish or brasillian music. I have a couple of favorite movies at the moment, and to be honest they all have similar genres. I can say that “a walk to remember” is still one of my favorite movies. If you haven’t seen it, please give it a watch! Some movies and shows that I’ve watched that I think are okay include how to get away with murder, Harry Potter series, twilight series (lol yes im that girl), shameless, wentworth, teen wolf which I never finished, money heist, what happened to Monday, yeah idk my movie/tv selection lowkey sucks. HAHA if you got some good recommendations, hit me up yo.
