About Me
Like every other traveler I'm in love with the overwhelming feeling of being a new place, discovering it's secrets and falling in love with its sights, culture and people. I discovered my love for travelling when hopped on board a 24 hour flight to Ecuador where I spent a year living abroad in Ecuador on youth exchange when I was 17. I'm a cake artist and pastry chef instructor by profession, as food, art and teaching have always been my biggest passions aside from traveling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
There's really nothing like forging friendships with fellow travelers and what's a better way to experience the culture of a place if you're not sleeping on a local's couch?
Interests
When I'm not in the kitchen you'd usually find me exploring new jungle trails and caves, backpacking (Obviously!), spending hours around the pottery wheel, reading a thick novel with a cup of Japanese green tea, learning a new language or doing tarot card readings!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all sorts of books and music, unfortunately I've always preferred books to movies. Some of my favorite music genres are reggaeton (Bailar!), pop punk, acoustic indie and country. My favorite books changes daily so it would be tough to pin down a few specific ones, but currently I enjoy book from Ken Follett, Khaled Hosseini and tons on spiritual healing/growth.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on the most amazing, mind blowing backpacking trip (Think exploring crystal caves!) with someone I had only met for two hours and with no prior planning.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook Malay, Chinese, Indian and Ecuadorian food, just take your pick! And French pastries would be served shortly after! I'd also be able to share stories about my previous adventures, thoughts about living an incredibly out of the box alternative lifestyle having been unschooled for most of my life and if you love both city and nature based adventures, you've found a new travel partner!
