Overview
About Me
I am a native New Yorker, who moved to Israel in March of 2014. I love to travel but I don't get to do it much. I am passionate about what this city has to offer and love sharing it with guests. The food, the beaches, the people, the music, the art and culture - it's really an amazing place!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My roommate is off exploring the far east and instead of finding a permanent person for the room, I thought it might be fun to meet people from around the world. I am a veteran airbnb guest and host (from my days in NYC), but wanted to give couchsurfing a go.
Interests
I love hip-hop, rock, blues, jazz and will one of my favorite ways to spend a weekend is just wandering around unexplored streets, meeting friends and eating delicious food. I do have to wake up early for work on weekdays (in Israel, weekends are Friday and Saturday), but can always be talked into checking out a live show or seeing a movie with friends. I am a veracious podcast listener and can talk for hours about film and music. Anything else you want to know, just ask :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I'll pretty much watch anything. I mean anything. There have been multiple times where I walked up to the counter of an indie movie house and just said "Give me a ticket to the next thing playing". Won't go into a list, but know that if I haven't seen it already, I want to - so bring on the suggestions!
Music is quite varied, but classic hip hop and classic rock are my bedrock.
Books - Mostly non-fiction, informational and biographies. Thought the Steve Jobs book was fascinating, anything by Malcolm Gladwell or Jon Ronson. Geeky research based non-fiction always interests me. I am a writer at my job, so I love seeing how language is used and abused and changed in more creative ways, but also like when research can be presented in interesting and different ways.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
