Hello! My name is Karen, and I currently live in Oakland, CA. I grew up in Wyoming, but decided I wanted to move to a city. I am a teacher by day, but my greatest love is traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling is one of the best experiences I have ever had. I want to support fellow travelers the best I can. I would love to meet up and meet some new people!

Interests

On top of traveling and teaching, I love to snowboard and read. Clubbing and bar hopping are among my favorite activities. I would enjoy meeting up for a night on the town, lunch, a hike, or to get some coffee!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best trip I've taken to date is a week long trip to Berlin, where I got to learn about their culture, visit the Holocaust and Jewish Museums, take the best walking tours of my life, and meet all sorts of wonderful people from all around the globe.
