About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Originally a London girl, I moved down to Cornwall 5 years ago to enjoy the beautiful scenery and the cheaper rent. It has been a fantastic few years.
However, we are just in the middle of booking a trip to Australia and the Cook Islands in the summer of 2020. Cannot wait to tick a few more things off that bucket list!
I have a private room available to couch surfers. You will have plenty of privacy. I do in general like to have the house free during the day but of course you're free to hang out in the evenings sometimes.
I'm really looking forward to hearing everyone's interesting stories and hopefully helping out some weary travellers. Have really enjoyed taking in couchsurfers so far and am looking forward to meeting many more in the future.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy the company and love meeting new people from different areas of the world.
I also hope to stay with couchsurfers in other countries when we do our own travelling and I think its important to give to the community first before surfing ourselves.
Interests
Business, going to the gym, spinning, poker, travelling, reading, swimming, body boarding, hiking round the coast.
I run a local women’s group who eat out every Friday lunch time called Ladies Who Lunch in Cornwall. Check us out on meetup - girls more than welcome to join us whether staying with me or not. :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a real film buff I love all sorts but mainly political or gangster thrillers. Favourite film is Talented Mr Ripley.
I read all sorts of books from political and business to fiction and travel books.
Music wise I have very wide tastes from hard house and trance to Coldplay or even some classical and opera. I'm mainly a 90's girl though, so all the clubbing and indie stuff from the era is what I mostly love.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing this I did was to get sponsored to play at PokerStars Championship in Monte Carlo 2017. I cashed in the main event and had a really wonderful experience.
However, in 2005 I went travelling to the Philippines for 3 weeks which was an incredible time. We visited Manila which was a bit harrowing tbh but when we fly out to the islands it was just amazing. We met so many beautiful people, always friendly and welcoming. And of course the scenery and beaches were totally stunning. We stayed on the island of Boracay for the majority of the time and it was truly a paradise.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a great cook (or so I've been told) so during your stay you are more than welcome to share food and wine with us.
Also if you need some advice starting up your own business please feel free to pick my brain! :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully you will enjoy our cooking and would also like to share a few drinks and stories.
