I think it's one of the most amazing ways to travel, meeting people, learn from their experiences and travel through their stories. Mi casa es tu casa. Of course I use it to save money too, but even if I could afford expensive hotels, I would rather stay with strangers, make friends and live actual adventures.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

One of the best things I have ever done was scuba diving in the red sea, an amazingly calm and beautiful place, it felt just like being on another planet (2015)

I did a few hiking trips to Nevado de Colima and Nevado de Toluca, both awesome places to remind myself how little I am and how far and high I can go. Ever since hiking mountains is one of my favorite activities (2016-2018)

During the internship year in med school my greatest pleasure among many other pleasant and very unpleasant experiences was assisting the delivery of new born babies and be present on that very moment when they took their first breath in, in what we often call home (2017)

I went through a lumbar fracture to recovery, training and swimming in open waters for the first time in competition all of it on a timelapse of 14 months (2017-2018)

I decided to take some time off from studying and formal work to travel, learn new skills and explore myself through Buddhist meditation, yoga practice and volunteer jobs (2018-2020)

Started rock climbing in summer 2022 mainly at a boulder gym and most recently sports climbing on real rock. Super psyched and proud about it.

I love learning new things, pretty much about everything small or big, I appreciate being taught something new.

I play the guitar a little so I can share a song or two.

I love chess so if you want to learn or you already know how to play and want a match or two, I'll always be willing to.

I enjoy dearly swimming, so I'm always in to go to the beach, lake or swimming pool, even if it's cold (I mean it).

I can teach basics of meditation and Kung fu Shao Lin, I'm a general physician so I'm usually able to make a diagnosis and give general measures to take care of small diseases, and detect when something requires hospital care. I'm all ears to anything that you might want to share, I would probably be pleased to listen about your travel stories.
