Hey there!
I am Karen, 21 years old and currently living in Amsterdam. Originally I am from Berlin, then moved to Valencia for an Erasmus and eventually came to Amsterdam for an internship. After working in the travel industry for more than a year, I decided that it's finally time to go and discover some more places myself. For now, I am planning on doing an Interrail around Europe and later, the rest of the world.
I am open-minded, almost always smiling and always in for a shared dinner, wine or a stroll through a new city.

I think couchsurfing, compared to staying in hotels or hostels, offers me the opportunity to see the city through the eyes of a local, to discover hiddem gems and possible build friendships that connect across borders.

Intereses

I did sports my whole life, track and field for 12 years and volleyball for another 4 years. So if you're looking for someone to have nerd talks about either one of them (or any other sports), count me in! Also, I love food (Who doesn't?), and obviously traveling, meeting new cultures and having fun city trips.

Algo increíble que he hecho

My most amazing experience so far was traveling to Rio de Janeiro in 2016 for the Olympic Games. I was part of a Youth Group with the purpose to support athletes, discover the culture and representing the German Youth on an international stage. The 2 weeks were simply epic, and I wouldn't want to miss any second this amazing trip.
