About Me

I'm a 33 year old Australian who enjoys working where I do, in the disability industry.
If there were more opportunities in a certain industry, I'd be an Anthropologist.

Fun facts:
As a child, if I was outside, you'd always find me climbing a tree or chilling out on the roof - I loved heights.
My talents include being clumsy without breaking or damaging anything. Hitting stop on my alarm and shutting eyes with the chance of falling back asleep and being late for work, but I tend to wake up in time minutes later.
Favourite food is hamburgers, pizza, and ice cream but not together.

Interests include movies, some solitude to unwind, learning and trying new things, keeping up to date with current affairs, adrenaline experiences, jogging and all sorts of other active activities.

Usually a quiet person but I thoroughly enjoy a good conversation. Enjoy being a goofball, especially at work or with close friends. Love looking outside of the box to things that require a solution.

This is not a free loading situation so I will chip in and help with housework, preparing a meal, whatever opportunity I can find to pitch in.
Will also not rely on you for essentials, sheets or food but will graciously accept if offered.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

You can't truly immerse yourself in the lifestyle without spending time with the locals in their own home. I love the concept as it enhances the worldwide and local community. Looking forward to meeting more people through any travel and possible hosting.

Music, Movies, and Books

Documentaries, Comedy, Action, and more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Whenever I challenge myself with something that can be scary, hard or risky.
Always safe and responsible in doing so.

Some examples: travelling solo in a country that isn’t fluent in English, tried to start a small business, and more.

Teach, Learn, Share

How to prepare Vegemite the correct way, trust me, it’s nice when done right. Totally optional.

Australian slang words or phrases.

I feel it will be a mutual exchange of sharing and learning about culture, experiences and life lessons.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope to assist in whatever way I can, whether it be help preparing a meal, washing up or dry cutlery, plates, etc.
I won’t wait to be asked, will offer first as you’re opening your home to me, and I appreciate it.

Will keep my items to a minimal area of space and respect you and your home.
