About Me

I've recently embarked on a brand new career, mid-life, and now that school etc is out of the way, I'm gradually trying to be out and about finding new places to explore. I love the outdoors and love to hike and enjoy nature. I live a pretty simple life and like moving slowly, but do have a slightly adventurous side from time to time. I try to stay unattached to "things" and accumulate experiences instead.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've grown to like solo traveling, so Couchsurfing is a great way to connect with other travelers and like-minded people while on the go. I also love the notion of neighbors reaching out to neighbors and building community even if that is next door, across the country, or the world.
