About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Love people.
ABOUT ME
I consider myself an outgoing introvert. I enjoy riding my yellow Raleigh bicycle, eating vanilla milkshakes with extra vanilla, fast-forwarding through movies, camping and hiking, and driving like an old lady, but I'm a really terrible dancer. I love making things with my hands.
PHILOSOPHY
Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:18
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
The last time I surfed, I ended up moving and becoming best friends with my hosts! That was two years ago! Now, my new roommate and I are getting our place set up, and will have a couch available for surfing asap!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been thankful to stay at someone's house through a bad icestorm while travelling in TX. I've backpacked, but not surfed in Germany and Switzerland, and had a blast!
Interests
As a designer, I'm incredibly passionate about learning through tactile processes like film photography, welding, and woodwork. I love to build and make things, from treehouses to sewing, and I love to cook new things. I enjoy reading cooking blogs and making a variety of ethnic foods. I spend most of my free time in the woodshop, but when I veg out I love to watch movies, make crafts, and go rafting!

Movies: anything involving breaking in (heists + robberies) or breaking out of prison. Quirky British movies. Other quirky romance movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first time backpacking alone around Switzerland was unbelievable, as was the first time I climbed a mountain, took a welding class, or saw an entire train board a ferry boat to cross from Germany to Denmark!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning from folks who have taken and interest in something out of the norm, like ayurvedic medicine or building tiny houses or TIG welding kettlecorn poppers. Whatever your thing is, if you're excited about it, I want to be excited about it with you!
I also really would like to learn about home canning of fruits and vegetables!
