ABOUT ME

What can I say besides I love travel and adventure. So much so that I quit my job for an 8-month adventure around the world, by myself. I never would have thought that I would actually be one of them, but I made it happen!

I love good people, I love to laugh, I love to explore, I love to have a good time.

PHILOSOPHY

Give without wanting or expecting anything in return and love with all you've got.

Live your life with an open mind, honesty, understanding, and compassion. Do good in the world and do what makes you happy. Test your limits, make yourself uncomfortable, and take chances. You might surprise yourself! You can accomplish anything you put your mind to. If you want something, go get it. There is nothing in the way that will stop you.

The most important lesson I have learned, that will stay with me forever, is that if you take care of yourself, as in do what you need to do in order to make yourself happy, you will life a full life, a happy life, and everything will fall into place. Every choice you make should be met with the question "Will this make me happy?" If the answer is yes, then do it. If the answer is no, then don't. Base your choices on you, what you want, and what inspires you, and what drives you. Forget about society, teacher, coaches, parents, friends, etc. Do what is best for you, and you will meet the right people along the way, without even trying.

The Dilemma

To laugh is to risk appearing a fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out for another is to risk involvement.
To expose feelings is to risk rejection.
To place your dreams before the crowd is to risk ridicule.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To go forward in the face of overwhelming odds is to risk failure.

But risks must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. The person who risks nothing, does nothing, is nothing.

He may avoid suffering and sorrow, but he cannot learn, feel, change, grow or love. Chained by his certitudes, he has forfeited his freedom.

Only a person who dares to risk is free.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am unable to host as I am currently traveling. I hope to meet fellow couchsurfers along the way!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined CouchSurfing upon hearing about it from a local tour guide when I was traveling in Italy (end of May/early June 2012).

I wish I could have kept in contact with him. Alas, those brief moments with him brought me here to CS.

So far, I have met awesome people through CS. I've met fellow travelers that are local here in Orlando and I've met some that have been passing through!

I was also able use Couchsurfing to connect with locals to hang out with even if I didn't need accommodations. They were amazing people and I'm thankful for the experiences. There is a Facebook group for Orlando Couchsurfers. If you are local and would like to know our community here I suggest you get in touch!

Overall it's been mostly positives. There are a few annoyances here and there but that's with everything. Please note, I do not use Couchsurfing as a dating or hookup site. I'm not single, but even when I was, that is not how I used this website.

I would like to request you read my profile in its entirety and have your profile filled out with real photos prior to messaging me or responding to a host request.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently: I quit my career and embarked on a round-the-world journey, Miami --> Morocco --> Germany --> Greece --> Croatia --> Spain -->Philippines --> Malaysia --> Australia --> Fiji --> Hawaii --> California --> Nevada --> Miami, for 8 months (July 2014 - March 2015).

Back in 2012: Booking a trip back to Italy within a week and a half of being back in the States. It was the first of the four solo trips I've done so far. My fourth solo trip being my round-the-world adventure!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am interested to see the type of connections I make with complete strangers. I don't know specifically what I can teach you, but I believe everyone has something to offer. We teach people things all the time without even knowing it. Just by interacting with another individual, there is an exchange of knowledge, even if only for a few moments.

All I know is that I can share my smile, my friendship, my thoughts, my kindness, my laughter and a nice conversation.
