ABOUT ME

I am the littlest hobo, a wanderer and a searcher. I have done a lot of wandering and searching in my country of origin which is Canada until the last year when I decided to go to New Zealand to volunteer and work as a gift to myself for graduating from my second round of university life.

I love to hike and spend weeks at a time living in the backcountry (whether for work or for play). I am newish to kayaking and skiing and love those outdoor activities alot as well. I am also a fledgling angler and enjoy spin casting and flyfishing (when I don't spend the whole aftyernoon with my hook in a tree.

I love live folk and grassroots music as well as electronica for dancing all night under the stars at festivals and gatherings.

I am a spiritual person but and a Buddhist but I believe mainly in respecting other peoples beliefs and in being as good a person as I can be.

I generally take contract work and server jobs to allow for a flexible lifestyle that includes lots of time off. Allowing me the time to explore hobbies of travel, the outdoors and my love to craft and create wearable art.

I am an avid reader of every genre of books both fiction and non-fiction. I tend to be relatively media illiterate but try to keep up on current events.

I am home and although I have no couch at the moment I would love to hang out with other couchies either in the area or passing through!

I have only stayed at one place so far but it ruled!

I love all genres of music, movies and books. I try to stay away from the Hollywood movies and I enjoy mainly independent music makers and try to support local grassroots artists. But my theory on media is a lot like my theory on wine... if you like it then its good... and don't let anyone tell you different

Climbed inside a huge steam belching crater on the side of a volcano, by myself with no idea what I was doing... stupid but so excellent!

Cycle the east coast of Australia from Sydney to Brisbane

Currently living on a remote cattle station cooking for over 20 ringers (amazing thing to do and watching them eat steak... an amazing thing to see)
