I am an American traveling with my new husband, Ben Wright (also on couchsurfing), around the world. We are currently in Southeast Asia. We have taken a year off from our careers to invest some time into our hearts and souls, become more cultured, and to spread positivity and inspiration around the world. We love to be in nature and meeting locals. Our favorite thing to do together is rock climb, so we chase the crags wherever we travel. I love nature, hiking and seeing all the beauty in the world. Another passion we share is our love of live music, so we try to find some wherever we go. I am enthralled by green energy and sustainable solutions of all kinds. As I hope to curve my career toward this direction when I get back to it, I try to learn of the green and sustainability solutions in all the places I travel to for multiple perspectives to bring back to the table. I am very friendly and easy going and would love to meet you!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love to see the city of town I am in through locals' eyes in order to get a real sense of the place. Since starting to couchsurf I have loved the culture of meeting people and the 'pay it forward' attitude. The only thing I look forward to having a home again is to host surfers myself!

The most amazing thing I've done is to quit my job, sell all my belongings, grab my best friend to go on my first amazing journey!

I am now on my second trip around the world and I hope you can be a part of it!

I can teach English, lots of engineering principles, rock climbing and sewing. I wasn't sure what to write here so I asked my best friend; she said, "you teach people how to love themselves and to take the world in raw moments."

I would like to learn different languages (especially Spanish), different cultures, building things with my hands, green and sustainable solutions, gardening techniques, music, philosophies, art, and anything else you have to offer!
