About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I love to travel to new places, meet and learn from interesting local people at my destination.

ABOUT ME

I enjoy the outdoors and have backpacked in different parts of the US for the past 6 years. I've traveled to Europe, Morocco, Costa Rica and India internationally. Pretty much love most anything outdoors - kayaking, cycling, hiking. Also love folk, indie and bluegrass music. I sometimes backpack and travel alone and would prefer to meet others in the area who can tell me more about the local culture, etc. I'd also enjoy the companionship and stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just starting out. I would like to attend some local events and eventually host some. I hope to do couchsurfing in August and see how it goes. I will eventually be interested in hosting as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lost is one of my favorite TV shows. I don't watch much TV anymore (accept Netflix). I love SciFi movies and others that are creative and original.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacked parts of the Olympic National Park by myself - great views of Mt. Olympus from the High Divide Trail. Saw a mother and baby bear playing up the mountain from my tent. My tent was next to a Glacier Lake - had the whole lake to myself. Incredible memory I'll never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a pretty good cook and make great crepes. I cook for a lot of my hosts.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope we can both share great travel stories, as well as local stuff.
