ABOUT ME

Jope – loves to sing, play his djimbe, read interesting and provocative books, sampling Scotland’s finest, practicing culinary arts, carpentry, and all-out embracing whatever life brings.
Karen – a weaver, a part-time electrician, plumber, tiling expert, birdwatcher, cinnamon-bun creator, professional Mom, and extraordinary grandma.

This is first foray into CS so as of yet, this question remains unanswered.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have no couch-surfing experience…we can only say that our beds will always be clean, neat, and maybe even have rose petals for effect!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Movies – not really movie buffs but ones that are well put together with great cinematography and happy endings will do just fine.
Books – Historical fiction and fantasy (Karen says weaving books come in handy too!)
Music – folk, blues, reggae, really, quite eclectic. We do the booking for the Forestburg Concert Series every year and are pretty open to almost anything…
