HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now my family is accepting the occasional couch surfer. We are busy and travel often but when we are home we can host. We love meeting new people and making new friends. My daughter and I traveled through Europe this past summer. We cruised and couch-surfed during our 3 month summer Europe trek. We had wonderful experiences and met amazing people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted people from all over and enjoy sharing with others. My daughter and I have surfed with two hosts now and they were both great. We really like having someone to share our experiences with. It's like having friends or family in a foreign place. It just makes it better.

I really enjoy music that makes me feel or tells a story. I love the classics, Norah Jones, James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Colbie Callait, Michael Buble, Nancy Griffith. I also love country music old and new. My husband loves classic rock and my kids listen to whatever's new in singer/songwriter, pop, country and electronic. We all love romantic comedies and action movies. One of our family favorites is Armageddon. No one in my house likes horror movies. I love to read and always have a couple books going. I read everything but prefer romantic comedy, historical fiction, health and new age spiritual. My husband and daughter love audio books, him, Tom Clancy and historical, her, young adult and paranormal romance and my son reads whatever they assign for college.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I met the love of my life and gave birth to two amazing children and I was lucky enough to stay home with them and be a part of their life education and love them all everyday!

My daughter and I spent the whole summer traveling Europe for 3 months it was the adventure of a lifetime!

We have lots of really great stories. We'll share them with you when we meet. ;)

I am a natural born teacher. I currently teach yoga but I have taught sailing, swimming, aerobics, cooking, sewing, rock climbing and rappelling, crafts, songs, canoeing, gymnastics, etc... I am a Girl Scout Leader and I ran a day camp for 11 years. I was also a Cub Scout leader, a substitute teacher and I homeschooled my 2 youngest children.

I love to learn. I read all the time. I'm interested in many things. Right now I'm focusing on health and travel.

My daughter and I are both great at helping out and we love to share stories. We can share a meal. I love to cook or we can take you out if you'd rather. We are neat and will keep our area tidy. I can teach you some sun salutations or other yoga poses if you like. We love to hike and see new places and it would be even more fun with a new friend. If you want to join us or show us your town we would love the company and could buy you lunch or a gelatto. :)
