Overview
About Me
I currently live in Los Angeles and I work as a policy analyst for government relations tech company, but I'm studying to become a landscape architect.
Likes: Backpacking, rock climbing, being around mountains/forests/lakes, any and all animals, figure drawing, art, sewing, creating new things from old things, gardening, playing soccer/frisbee, Settlers of Catan, bicycling, long runs, doing backflips, wine, good beer, dancing,
I'm a pretty low maintenance guest and I like to be helpful to my hosts. I'd love to hang out if you have time, but I'm very independent!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started using Couch Surfing in 2010, just after I graduated college in Michigan -- a close friend and I hitchhiked across the United States and Couchsurfed along the way. We met the kindest, most interesting people and it was one of the most influential times of my life.
Since that epic adventure, I've Couch Surfed in Ecuador, Europe, Turkey, and the United States. I hosted a little while I lived in Beirut, Lebanon for grad school when my schedule allowed, but unfortunately my housing situation (roommates) has not been ideal for hosting since then -- but some day I will have a guest room just for Couchsurfers!
I love the freedom of traveling alone but I don't like to be alone that much -- Couchsurfing is perfect!
Interests
In general, I love to be on the move and outside. I like activities that are physically challenging. I seek out novel experiences and will try anything (especially food) once.
