Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling and meeting new people are my favorite things in life. Some of my best friendships have formed from posting "I'm headed to ... in June. Anyone have a couch?" then crashing for a week. I'm excited to meet new people outside my acquaintance circle.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Rock
Movies: Documentaries, they're a way to learn, entertain and binge in one. When watching one I don't feel like I'm wasting valuable time like with many other shows. To unwind I watch comedies. And fantasy, no one could say Game of Thrones.
Books: History. See the documentary thing. I'm also just obsessed with history. Jumping back and forth rather than listing anything concrete - I also love history books! My tattoo is of Nimloth, and I have more LOTR themes planned for it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day I decided I was sick of working 100 hour weeks, being on call 24/7 for my boss and not getting compensated a reasonable living wage in Palo Alto. So I quit my job and moved to Spain the next day. Never looked back.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm an expert in startups and entrepreneurship having ran 2 companies, launched the New York tech scene, and worked for many prominent companies and investors in Silicon Valley. I can teach you all I know!

I'd love to learn more about your local economics and daily life. Architecture is my passion but I began a Ph.D in Economics, so the intersection is of utmost interest to me. My boyfriend, who typically travels with me, is an architect himself.
