ABOUT ME

I'll always call Southern California my home, but I've spent time working and traveling all over the world. I love both cityscapes and nature sights, enjoy diverse conversations with people, and feel incredible wanderlust to explore the globe.

As an introvert posing as an extrovert, I thrive off of small groups and one-on-one interactions. As a student of the social sciences, I love studying and interacting with people. They are what sustain me--I love meeting them, talking to them, learning about what makes them tick.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with a couch surfer once in Vienna and had a great experience! Since then, I've been to a handful of couch surfing meet ups, where I've made some great friends. I love couch surfing because you get to meet a diverse set of people from all over the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

"The Sound of Music" because that's the bread and butter I've grown up on; "Her" because it's filmed like an Instagrammed dream and delivers such real messages about relationships; "Brokeback Mountain" because of the superb acting and gritty realism; "21 Jump Street" because I never fail to double over laughing from this movie

I have a very scattered and widespread taste in music--indie rock, folk, movie soundtracks, rap, EDM, trashy top 40, classical, trance...I pretty much listen to it all.

I love "East of Eden" by John Steinbeck. I also love anything with beautiful prose, like "Beloved," "The Great Gatsby," and "Their Eyes Were Watching God."
