About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet as many people as possible who enjoy life as much as I do.

ABOUT ME

I'm heading to Brisbane, Australia for two and a half years to study Speech Pathology at University of Queensland. I'll be arriving mid July 2014. I am so stoked to meet new people, hear all about others adventures and life journeys. I'm all about laughing and having a good time. I enjoy a good beer and basically any wine.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is about how you react to what's around you, not how what's around you makes you react. Happiness is possible wherever you go, you just have to be willing to choose it.

Interests

I love hiking, skiing, snowboarding, beach volleyball, meeting new people, exploring new places, and living not just for the story, but for the experience too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled all over the west coast and east coast of the United States. I am a born and raised Cali girl, but my heart lies wherever I go. I've surfed a few times in Hawaii, and I've been snowboarding and skiing my whole life all over California. I've seen the White House up close and personal and I've been in the South where food and music are so appreciated. I've realized that if there can be all of these extreme differences in my own country, there has to be things out there that I was born to see. I've traveled to France, Switzerland, and Austria however my trip was cut short so I only stayed a day in Austria and did not make it to Italy (which was my last destination). I loved learning about other people and their cultures that I would never in a million years get to see if I didn't make the decision to grab hold of the opportunity. So that''s what I'm doing now. Not only do I want to meet locals and learn about their culture in Australia, I plan to become apart of the community while I'm there for the two plus years. I hope to have the time of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone has something to learn and to share. It doesn't matter if you're a genius, a stupid blonde can still teach you a valuable lesson about life.
