Overview
About Me
I'm an easy going soul. I've lived in several places in the world. I think the best part of traveling is meeting locals and learning about the cool places to go to as well as trade stories and give friendship. I have the greatest dog on planet earth. My favorite hobby involves dance especially dances from the 1930s and 1940s such as Lindy Hop and Balboa.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's great to have a local's perspective when visiting and traveling. This is such a great community. The best part of the couchsurfing experience is meeting locals and learning about their cities from a local's perspective. I'm here to meet people and to get a local's perspective when visiting a new city. When you a travelers are hosted by me, I will show them some great sites in the area as well. I like showing people around and exchanging ideas, stories, and meals. As fellow travelers I'm sure we both have tales to spin... and that's the heart of couchsurfing.
*****NOTE TO THOSE REQUESTING A COUCH******
1. Please request when coming in the next couple of weeks. I travel a lot spontaneously (especially in the summers). Chances are I don't know my own plans more than a few weeks out.
2. As a single female it isn't safe/smart to host someone with no references. That said, I would be glad to meet up with a fellow traveler for dinner and a conversation :)
3. Hint: Please read and respond to my profile in your couch request. If it doesn't seem like you have read it, it is unlikely that I will agree to host you.
Interests
I really enjoy Lindy hop dancing to swing music. Though lately I have taken up learning some hip hop moves to K-pop! I also enjoy the outdoors, hiking with my dog and slacklining. I love riding my vintage Vespa around. I can juggle, I also am a good tennis player.

Teach, Learn, Share
I was bamboozled traveling in Beijing. If 2 friendly people come up to you and want to practice their English, DO NOT let them take you to a teahouse.. a good story that we'll talk about....
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a meal, and some good stories. I can teach you how to slackline (walking on a loose rope). I can share a friendship and if you visit Los Angeles of course I can offer to host you too :)
