About Me

ABOUT ME

I am studying European and Asian relations at the University of Leuven in Belgium. I live in Leuven with my partner, Scott, and two cats. We like to travel, ride bikes, try Belgium beers, go to music shows, and play strategy board games. Scott is an artist and graphic designer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've met many amazing people through Couch Surfing, whether in India or Washington DC. I enjoy being a host when I have a couch to offer and appreciate the kind hospitality I have received as a couchsurfer!

Interests

eating bhel puri in Bombay, band practice in Chicago, watching Jaipur fall asleep from the rooftop of my old apartment, late night cupcake baking marathons, long train rides on the Keralan coast, making music with my brother in Palatine, going on adventures with my boyfriend, writing, learning new languages, reading Bolano everywhere and wishing I was in South or Central America

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a guest star role on the popular Hindi TV show Taarak Mehta Kaa Ooltah Chashmah for a month when I was living in Bombay.

I cycled for 30 days in rural Karnataka with 20 teenage survivors of human trafficking in order to raise awareness about the issue and to help the girls gain self-confidence and strength.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can offer up my vegetarian cooking skills, considerable knowledge of India's trains and buses and restaurants, Hindi language skills, and fiction recommendations.

I want to learn how to cook local cuisine and where the best (and cheapest) restaurants are at.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking and canning skills... hey, let's make you a winter's worth of jarred pasta sauce or jam!
