I'm Tunisian, I was born and raised in Tunisia, more precisely Sfax. A town where it's all about work and studies. What excites and thrills me the most in this life is travelling (like most of the people), listening to music (many kinds of it), reading books about science, cosmology, physics, history, fantasy...
Most of my life has been about following that predecided path that everyone expects you to do, until I discovered that life is enjoyed at it's full potential when you actually leave that routine and think out of the box.
I live within the philosophy that one can only embrace his full potential and the best version of himself by improvising everything in his life, of course in the limits of sanity. Of course, saying it is easier than doing it. But on the practical side, you just have to live and enjoy it instead of thinking about how to live : Live like every day like it is your last, help others without expecting anything in return, make strongs bonds and relations with people you might never meet again, but who knows ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel all around the world like most people do. Yet, I consider that the best way of enjoying it is not only by visiting some monuments or attractions in that specific country but also by literally embracing the culture and the language of the native people. That's what thrills me so much about CS since it makes this possible in every way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time I have been out of my country was in 2015. I was part of an exchange program to do a medical internship in Indonesia for a month. In the first 3 days, it was a shock for me. There have been so many changes in so little time ; the people, the language, the culture, the climate, the cars, the architecture, and everything else. Yet, the more time I spent there and the more I started to make extraordinary friends to the point that I coped with those changes in a blink of an eye. I felt so happy and complete. When I returned to my country, I felt like it was an exprience from another life. And every molecule in my body harrasses me to live it again. So that's what I did. I went for a second exchange program the next year to austria. And the experience was as extraodinary as the first. A one from another life. A one that enlightens your soul for the rest of your living.
