Olá :) I’m Karim, a 21 years old brazilian student from the beautiful Rio de Janeiro. I currently study Art History in Madrid for the semester and I have also been in another exchange program in Rovaniemi, Finland. So, travelling is a really important piece of my life, alongside with all the people I get to know and experiences I get to be part of.

I work virtually as a Junior Graphic Designer for an incredible brazilian plant based milk company, but what I love doing and the "thing" I really consider myself to be is an artist. Some of the fields I explore are installation, perfomance, sound art, poetry and audiovisual.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm always telling myself we shouldn't stay in a closed world inside a hotel or something like it while we are traveling alone, because creating real connections is such a big part of life and usually it's what makes my trips worth it. So, this platform helps me a lot with it.
