I am a freelance photographer born and raised in Kenya.
I have a passion (i think its an obsession really) for cycling.
And more recently - due to inability to ride - I have taken to crossfit. I say that like I know anything about crossfit, but it is so recent that every muscle that I didn't even know I had hurts, and I make movements with weights I don't think I am supposed to, so, I tend to do it in the privacy of my little home gym with help from YouTube where only I can laugh at myself.
I am a bird nerd at times ... actually most times ... or .... I used to be a bird nerd all the time and still love my birds and bird watching and take any chance I can to point out and watch and photograph birds.
Did I also mention that in another life I wanted to be a cook?
That alternate reality still haunts me sometimes and I host dinners at home for friends. I love to cook!! But can you blame me? I have some Indian blood in me.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have recently re-activated my couch surfing account because after many years of saving, the stars are finally lining up and I may have the opportunity of a life time to meet some of the best bike/ cleat fitters in the world to fix me and get me back on the bike. Because when I am not cycling, I am grumpy. And chubby. And no one likes it when I am grumpy and chubby!
But along with meeting these wonderful bike fitters, I am also looking to combine the opportunity to meet people from around the world and learn about other cultures and food and see other scenaries along with allowing others to experience my part of the world too.

I have no specific favourite music. I have seasons and I listen to almost everything with a beat. However, if something from the 90's pops up, you can almost expect my head to bob!!
I also don't have a favourite movie. Can anyone? But I do love to watch movies!
